1. Download the app

The app is available for iOS and Android using the link below. We recommend using the mobile app because it so easy to see and gives you access on the go, but you can also go to the Church Center web app. The features are the same in the mobile and web apps.

Open the Church Center page using the link below. In your browser, select Log In at the top right corner of the page.

Next, you’ll be prompted to enter your phone number (or email if you prefer). Enter the six-digit code you receive back via text (or email if you chose that option). If you already have a profile in Planning Center (from serving, being in a group, registering for an event or giving to FBC online), you’ll be asked to verify your name. If you don’t already have a profile, you can create one at this point by adding your name and email.

HOW TO UPDATE YOUR PROFILE PERMISSIONS FOR LIFE GROUPS

Personal information is just that… personal. And you deserve to decide who gets access to your email or phone number, even within your church family.

In Church Center, you are in control of what contact information is visible in each group you’re part of.

After you log in to Church Center, follow the steps below and look for the option to Edit Visible Information within your groups. From there, you can choose exactly what details you’d like to share with that specific group. You can also apply the same visibility settings to any other groups you're currently in.

Click your profile image or initials in the upper left hand corner of the Church Center App.

Under Activity and Involvement select the Life Group you are apart of.

Select "Members" in the upper right hand side.

Select the information you would like to be visible to the other members of the group.

  1. Click on your photo or initials at the top-left corner of the screen to go into the “Account” screen.
  2. To update your personal information, click on your name/photo at the top. This will take you to the "Profile and Settings” screen. 
  3. Click on "My Profile & Household". Select the area you would like to edit by selecting "Edit" in the upper right corner of that field. When done, click the Update link at the top-right of the screen. You may also update your personal photo from here. Click on the existing photo or the “Update Photo” link (at the top of the “Edit Profile” screen). Then upload a photo from your device.
  4. To update households: to update your household information, from the Account screen, click on the photos or initials at the top of the screen of the profile you would like to edit. It will take you to that household members profile. Just like updating your own information, click on each item to edit it, then make sure to click the “Update” link at the top-right of the screen. Note: if you need to add a household member, select the green plus symbol. Choose either Adult or Child depending on the age of the person you are adding.
  1. Click on your photo or initials at the top-left corner of the screen to go into the “Account” screen.
  2. Click on “My Giving”
  3. To view and update recurring donations, click on "Manage” in the Planned Giving section. 
  4. To add or update a payment method (credit card or other), click on the “Manage Payment Methods” link and either add a bank account or credit card, or click on an existing payment method to update it. This is a great way to update your credit card expiration date.
  5. “Notification Preferences” allow you to update how you are notified for online donations.
  6. Finally, the “Statements” button will allow you to view year-end giving statements once they are created each year.
